Brajan Gruda is one of the most interesting teenagers coming out of the German Bundesliga. The FSV Mainz 05 attacker broke through the senior team after impressing with the U19 side last season, where he scored eight goals and set up a further six in 14 appearances.
At only 19 years, the German U21 international operates as a wide playmaker and brings pace, athleticism and a great understanding of the game. His 5.28 progressive carries and 4.04 successful take-ons P90 also rank him very high compared to positional peers in the league.
According to our Player Valuation Model, Gruda has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €5.4 million, rising over five times from just €900K at the start of the season.
Gruda is developing well at Mainz, but his performances have alerted many top clubs including Bayern Munich. It is only a matter of time before he gets wider recognition as one of the the best wing prospects in German football.
