Sverre Nypan is part of a talented generation of Norwegian players that are currently breaking through.
The Rosenborg BK academy graduate broke a bunch of records as he made a foray into professional football. He became Rosenborg’s youngest-ever player in history, and later achieved another milestone by becoming their youngest-ever goal scorer.
Nypan aligns with both the box-to box and deep lying playmaker roles. He is very competent on the ball and has great ball carrying ability that helps create overloads from midfield.
The teenager is defensively sound and likes to engage in duels and recover the ball. He also contributed five goals and one assist in his breakthrough Eliteserien campaign in 2023, and this dynamism is what makes him a very interesting profile.
According to our Player Valuation Model, Nypan has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €1.4 million. The rapid development shown by the 17-year-old, has led to a big rise in his value since he started playing regular first-team minutes last year.
Nypan has an exciting future ahead and is definitely one to keep an eye on.
